Super Junior’s Leeteuk is moved by a Russian fan’s heartfelt gift

In the early morning of January 20, Super Junior’s Leeteuk revealed an anecdote with a Russian fan: “My mom said she shed tears as she was given a Russian fan’s present. The fan partly broke the present made of glass by mistake along the way to her. My mom was deeply impressed with the fan’s careful delivery with all her hearts to prevent the gift from further being damaged.”

“I really appreciate fan’s support and love. I firmly believe that fan’s love is the greatest thing,” he added.

In the photo posted along with the comment, we can see the Russian fan’s present with a broken transparent glass bead.

People who saw the photo left responses: “It is a really moving story. Super Junior as well is the greatest thing. Take heart!” “I feel sorry for the broken part. I am also feeling weepy now.” “I can read the hurtful feeling of the Russian fan.”

Leeteuk will emcee the MBC’s special program for the lunar New Year, Idol Sports Competition, which will be broadcast on January 24.

Super Junior’s Yesung ”I’m Touring Osaka! Guess where I am”

Super Junior’s Yesung recently toured Osaka, Japan.

On January 10, Yesung tweeted a picture with the comment, “I’m touring everywhere in Osaka. Guess where I am now.”

In the picture, Yesung is standing on a side street in Osaka. He is wearing his hair in bangs in comfortable clothes while touring Osaka.

People responded: “I like your skeleton patterned shirt! I love you.” “You look cute. You are always smiling.” “You are great! You are handsome! I love Super Junior. Fighting!”

Yesung previously drew a lot of attention by posting a picture of himself in a subway in Osaka on January 9.

Super Junior’s Leeteuk calls Kyuhyun ”Babo”

Super Junior, with the exception of Leeteuk, made their appearance at the special concert for Athena: Goddess of Warin Japan and it appears that evil maknae Kyuhyun said something snarky about the leader, causing Leeteuk to call him “babo” on Twitter.

Leeteuk tweeted, “Gyuhyun-ah..everybody is watching…!!!Gyuhyun babo…ㅋㅋㅋㅋ” Kyuhyun was “surprised” and replied, “Gasp… I got caught…. Who betrayed me ㅜㅜ” Leeteuk then said, “Hyung is the president of all young girls, am I not ? ㅋㅋ Our personnel are all over the world, and Hyung is going to Japan in the afternoon.. Stay in seclusion for the mean time..”

So what happened, you might ask. Turns out that Kyuhyun called Leeteuk “babo” during the concert and Leeteuk’s loyal fangirls told Leeteuk about it (probably through Twitter). You better watch out, Kyuhyun.

Extravagant Challenge Episode 3: Highlights and Thoughts

In the previous episode, we were left with Gong Xi auditioning for LME. What happens next? [SPOILER ALERT!]

In the audition, the participants are required to act out their reaction to a phone call. When it is Gong Xi’s turn, the person speaking on the phone reminds her of Shang, so she blows up in anger and then starts to sob. Although she received high scores for her audition from all the judges, she still doesn’t get accepted because the director explains to her that she is missing the most important thing an entertainer should have: the heart to love her audience and wish for them to love her back, which she feels she lost when Shang hurt her.

Because she failed the audition, she decides that maybe it is best for her to just go on with her life and forget about Shang, so she gets a job at a gas station. However, while working there one day, Shang happens to go there too and she is forced to meet him, but he doesn’t act like he knows her. The real reason was that he couldn’t see her face because of his sunglasses, but she thinks that he is acting like he’s too high above her that he doesn’t even know her, so she gets pumped to join showbiz again. At the same time, the president of LME feels like it is a waste to just let her go because she is such an interesting person, so he begins a new branch of the company just for her, the Love Me branch. As the first member, Gong Xi has to earn “points” by helping other people, which will eventually get her an official debut. The job also comes with an embarrassing hot pink outfit that she must wear whenever she is helping out others.

At the end of the episode, Shang bumps into Dun He Lian at a cafe, and Shang wants to prove to Dun He Lian that Shang is the most handsome guy, so he purposely knocks over a trash can into Dun He Lian’s path.

So far, the drama is following the manga pretty well. Also, this episode moved a lot faster than the first two, so it was much more enjoyable. I can’t wait for the next episode where Gong Xi will finally be able to show more of her talents!

Super Junior’s Siwon loses his maternal grandmother

Super Junior’s Siwon is known for being close to his family and loving them with all of his heart but he has now been dealt with tragic news. Back in July of last year, his grandmother passed away and now, barely six months later, the singer-actor took to Twitter to reveal that his maternal grandmother passed away.

He tweeted, “Hello beautiful world. I lost my grandmother on my mother’s side. That’s why I am in Korea now and leaving early in the morning for Osaka.” He added, “Pray for me and my family. Thank you all.”

Our condolences to Siwon and his family during this tough time. Siwon, ELFs and your brothers will always be there for you to support and love you, no matter how tough things get. Stay strong!

Yesung Enjoys his Freedom and Explores Osaka On His Own

In Korea, idols can’t go out on their own without being swarmed by fans as soon as they hit the streets, but in other countries, they’re not as easily recognized. Super Junior’s Yesung took advantage of this and recently went out on his own to explore.

On January 8th, Yesung (@shfly3424) tweeted two pictures with the message, “Osaka, how are you! Riding on the subway in Osaka, the joy of being free~~^^” with a mixture of Japanese and Korean. In the picture, we see Yesung wearing a pompom hat and sunglasses, somewhat hiding his identity while on the subway.

Super Junior is currently in Japan for the Athena Concert. They completed the first concert in Saitama on Saturday, January 7th, and their next concert is at Osaka Castle Hall on Monday, January 9th.

I’m glad Yesung was able to go out on his own for a bit and not worry about getting mobbed by fans. I wonder where he went exploring.
